In all seriousness, we could cause a fit next year if we throw in a random veer or rocket toss play from the under-center flexbone. I'm sure we can remember how to do it without spending any practice time on it. I would definitely call that in the spring game and refuse to call anything else.

I’d call a screen pass on the first play against Clemson. They are going to assume our pass blocking sucks anyway. Besides, it may slow them down the rest of the game.

I'd think Clemson will expect a safe play like that. If it is incomplete, at least we can face 2nd and 10 instead of 2nd and 15

Could run the double option play he ran at Temple. Technically, triple option since you can hit the motion man on a pass if the DB’s don’t drop.

"You go 10 yards and cut across the middle, you go 10 yards and buttonhook, you run a slant."
"You go long".
Buttonhook.....I love it. Haven’t heard that route description in years. Routes are now named bounce, stop, go, dig, arrow, etc. We likely played in same generation.
