Official Spring Game Thread

He knows the offense better right now but imo Graham is a good bit more talented. Given the summer and Fall, I think Graham will bump him.
Some of those "sacks" Graham took last night would've been nowhere near a sack, and likely big gainers.

I don’t see how you can reach that conclusion based on what we have seen from either QB

If Graham is 2nd string then he needs to start against Virginia Tech and run quarterback keepers the whole game. He looks really good with the ball in his hands while running.

The defense isn’t going to be miraculously better this year. Will be feast or famine. The ol is unspectacular. Still the guys are working hard I’m sure. Collins needs to get some DT committed pronto. It’s been our Achilles heel for the past...forever minus Richard and Walker playing together.

I'd say the strengths are:
WR is the best group by a good bit
RB are next best imo (no surprise) we are 5 deep with Benson back
QB is better than average I think. Seeing tonight, I think Graham will win the job, personally.
Safety is in very good shape. Probably see a bunch of nickel and even dime to get safeties on the field.

Weaknesses
DL is still biggest weakness. We will really miss Big B on and off the field.
LB still look slow.
CB has decent talent but we're thin.

Neutral
OL will be ok.

Also, we're a pretty good dancing team so I guess that is a strength.
I wasn't there, so thanks for the info. Playing against yourself is always confounding. Wouldn't good WR's tend make CB's look bad or LB look slow? And vice versa?

I'm excited for the future, was there.I never can tell much when we play ourselves, think we're real short on players for "big boy FB" but are going to remedy that. I'm into 'cruitin, not too concerned about record next two years, if they don't do something about color combos where I can read players numbers, will have to watch at home-I'm in my 80s. GOL did that to us fans and I had to quit going, I and others said something to him about it, but he never fixed it, shame, we need butts in seats.

In 27 years I can't recall thinking oh man this experience would be better if I could just read the numbers. As long as I can see the scores and the downs I'm good.

Some of us actually like to know who is who while watching a game
This is very true. It’s part of being a fan rooting for the individual players and being happy when they succeed to me is half the enjoyment. I’ve always had players I’d scope out and pay attention to on any given down. That being said while I like the uniforms, I want everyone to participate in the same level of fandom.
