2020 Recruiting

The recruiting pool is covering the dive (2020), so we're going to use the rocket toss (2021) until they stop it. Death march. 1 commitment and a cloud of dust every 2 weeks. By November we'll have all our targets committed before Clemson even gets to make contact again.

Mark Bradley will say "but you can't attract the best recruiters to run that recruiting scheme" and we'll prove over and over that recruiters are better evaluated after the class is signed.
 
Feels like we're loading up on big ends, where there is less need than in the middle. Does a CGC defense tend to recruit a lot of 250-lb guys to see who gains the most mass and muscle and moves to the interior, a la Roman Reigns? If so, I really like it. I've always liked high-motor guys in the middle over 350-lb mountains that get winded every play.

There just aren't that many big DTs playing HS football and they are all highly coveted. We have offers out to quite a few though, and we have mutual interest from a few, including some studs.

Eventually it will be Clemson lamenting that GT is their cross division rival and it’s not fair for them to have to play us year end and year out.

We have signed more players than any. I don't see us holding this ranking. I'm not totally concerned with star rankings, but the other schools that have less but better will have better classes by signing deadline.
 
We need to get this info to CGC so he can use it against the Dwags. uGa is apparently not a 5-star developmental program:

It could also be said the rating system is not as good of a predicter as some think. Some three stars have higher ceilings than some five stars. I’ve heard college coaches address them many times.
