2020 Recruiting

Romello would be my favorite player in the entire class. This is the type of LB that we have been dreaming about. Aggressive QB killer. ATL is your new home Romello!!!

We have signed more players than any. I don't see us holding this ranking. I'm not totally concerned with star rankings, but the other schools that have less but better will have better classes by signing deadline.
I agree, but if we end up top 25 when the dust settles, that is an improvement in ranking of over 25 spots and I would see that as exceeding expectations of most fans.

If we hit top 25 it will be tremendous. Fingers crossed that we are also good talent evaluators....because the rankings themselves aren't the real target, and they are naturally a bit flawed. I'm hoping if we rank 25, 3-4 years down the road it was a really a top 10 because we evaluated and developed the young men so well. This was, IMO, part of the reason we got so good in the GOL era.

We need to get this info to CGC so he can use it against the Dwags. uGa is apparently not a 5-star developmental program:

Shamelessly stolen from sec rant.

5* WR Terry Godwin was selected in the 7th Round
5* TE Isaac Nauta was selected in the 7th Round
4* RB Elijah Holyfield went undrafted
4* Top 100 DE Jonathan Ledbetter went undrafted
4* Top 100 LB Natrez Patrick went undrafted

And last season 5* DT Trenton Thompson became the first #1 Prospect in history to go undrafted.
In contrast...

Anybody know who those guys are? And why they couldn't find NFL uniform pics for some of them?

The key is to evaluate talent and keep them in school for at least four years. Less if drafted. We’ve lost a lot of talent early.

I would guess the bottom row is players from the 2019 Draft class.

They're all wearing Temple uniforms, I think. Did Temple really have 7 players drafted this year? Wow.

They definitely didn't have 7 players drafted. Maybe it's all Temple players drafted who played for him in 2017 and/or 2018, or it may be counting players picked up as UDFA.

Has anybody heard anything about the 4-star we were talking about last week? I am hearing some things but I don't see a commit yet. I dunno.
