I would like to see them played in local communities...alternate different regions as home teams or some such, but the games should be played on the local level. Irwin County playing at 9am in a cavernous domed stadium is stupid to use them as an example . Local fans could afford to attend the games & not have to pay for a hotel room in Atlanta. Money would stay in communities that support the teams year round.

I feel confident that between the two of you, you both can come up with two totally opposite and competing solutions, neither of which will make sense to anyone but yourselves, but solutions that both of you will be confident that are 100% the only way forward. I’ll get Todd on the line shortly!
You’re mistaking me for someone that gives a öööö.

The away “lockerrooms” would be a MAJOR disadvantage to that team so much so that it denies this idea.

Back in the day, and most of you won’t remember, there was a high school all star game at the end of the year pitting the north vs. the south. It was hosted at Grant Field and called the Milk Bowl. I always rooted for the south all stars and was appalled that my Dad and Brother rooted for the north. Think there is a benefit anytime you can introduce high school players to BDS.

I know Duke's used to be a hike away from the stadium, but who has the worst away locker rooms in the ACC? The best? Sorry for thread hijack but now I'm curious.

The visitor's locker room at Purdue didn't have air conditioning until last year.

Course y’all know the state championship games were at one time always played at Grant Field.
Uh no, when was that. My memory goes back to late 60s and all those champ games were played at one of the high schools.

i think for a couple years (mid 60's ?) the AAA, the largest GHSA classification, played championship game at GRANT FIELD. To say "always" is incorrect.

CPJ wouldn’t even use the locker room at halftime because it was so far away. He would walk the players behind the scoreboard and have them sit there to save time. Pitiful setup.
