Transfers heating up...as needed

Is Myles Sims a 2020 recruit, a grad transfer, a transfer or what? What will be his future playing status?

Redshirt freshman transferring out of Michigan. He is from Atlanta, so he should have a good chance at a waiver to play right away. 4 yrs eligibility.

We finally have a coach who knows how to play the game that the corrupt NCAA has evolved in to. I hate what college sports has become but I’m happy we finally will be bringing a gun to a gun fight. The transfer portal is just the newest tumor the corrupt NCAA has allowed to grow. And no one is being forced out of GT. These players are making a personal decision to not sit the bench.

It's not any different than it was 60/70 yrs ago, just looks a little different. Coaches used to beat up on players until they would just quit, way back. Dodd kept them around, but they had a lot more ships then and had ways to park them without loss of ships, I guess like medical now. Not sure I remember just how they did it all back then, but it was done.

The level of transfers we’ve brought in is certainly impressive. If they get waivers, essentially 5 guys that will start day 1. 3 have a wealth of eligibility left

We picked up a really nice 2019 LB today who not only committed but actually signed today. Will be on campus June 2.
6'5" 215.

The transfer portal and the relaxed transfer rules will benefit southern schools. Recruits who spend one winter in the tundra will rethink their decision. With the combination of our staff, the city of Atlanta and a great education, we will be a prime landing spot.
Only if you are attending Miami or Ohio State. If your family member is sick, screw you

Sims is a Jacket.

Kirbs is so hypocritical. He wants to bitch about the transfer portal but he still uses it to his advantage. He brought a Bama transfer with him the first year he left. This year he brought in Tennessee's TE and a receiver from Miami. What a douche!
