Don't ever take you wife to our upper West stands and probably not the upper North either. Worst seats I have ever seen is whatever that stratosphere section is over in Athens (600 section??).
Nothing at BDS is similar to the top of the Benz!

If the upper Benz has her so psyched out she cannot even sit there; then she will not feel comfortable in the top of upper West either. If the crowd is into it, then upper North will be rocking, literally, doubt she would like that either.

I sat up there for the Auburn vs U Wa game and the seats were fine and I could see the Jumbotron just fine. I was probably in the lower third of the upper deck though. The seats were as good or better than upper West.
I've watched quite a few games in the Benz upper deck. As long as you're in the lower ~2/3 of the upper deck, you can see enough of the halo board to see what's going on. Upper ~1/3 and you've got to rely on simply watching the game directly.

We actually sit in the upper north (granted only a couple rows above the tunnels) and thankfully it's not an issue. The issue with the Benz was less the actual height and much more the steepness. I think our ticketed seats were probably a little more than halfway up the upper deck. I'm not particularly afraid of heights and after walking up the stairs and turning around, I even felt a hint of vertigo. The upper north, despite getting kind of tall, isn't anywhere near as steep as the Benz.

I would have told her to suck it up, buttercup. Fear of sitting in an upper deck of a stadium would have me filing for divorce #3
Haha I was definitely a little frustrated with her. But the seat upgrade made everything alright. We've never had any issues with any other stadium/venue. It probably didn't help in the Benz that we got to our seats before the vast majority of the other upper seats had filled in, so the steepness felt a little accentuated with just a field of empty seats below us. Definitely felt like one tumble would land you about 20 rows down.

Gotcha, in that regard upper North isn't near as bad as upper West. Both have a good view of downtown for night games.

That's believable.

Duly noted. I've been in the lower west for a game, but never experienced the upper.

Can’t have the poors sucking up all the light from the halo board with their destitution.

Ive been to a lot of stadiums. All the old ACC and more. But those are the worst seats and it isnt even close. Although the game I sat in them I chose to spend the whole game ragging on how bad the seats were real loud so the season ticket holders all around me could hear.

I was pretty brutal. I gave them the "sads".

Also Clemson upper deck is insane steep. Makes for a great view, but it is not for the feint. Havent been upstairs in Benz to compare.

Never felt a desire to go to Athens but agree on Clemson. You need to check your drinking if your seats are up top

My daughter cheered there two years ago so they sat the cheer teams in the 600 level. I don't do crappy seats anywhere. Too old for that. But my wife and daughter assured me those are the worst seats on Earth. It was Labor Day weekend about 95 degrees, and the walk to the seats was about 2 miles was their guess. Then they could see nothing. I thoroughly enjoyed sitting not in Athens watching football in the AC.

Question - I read where those with paid for seats at Benz (PSL) have rights to tickets for the Tech Benz games. How many seats is that and does than mean seats for Tech season ticket holders will be bad compared to where they normally sit?

I do not believe this is true. Most seats are PSL at Benz. Only club and suite holders get first right if refusal for other games/events.

For instance, I have Club seats in 237. I was offered Peach Bowl tickets a few weeks ago. The last 2 years they were $250. This year, Arthur is charging $850 face for the club seats. Unreal.
