The secret is that I’m still under a contract for cable internet. That’s about $70 per month and I have my own modem. What they have done is bundle that with some crappy cable package that has like 20 channels. We’ve never used it but it was cheaper to get internet with it than without.
Back in the bad old days when I was a Comcast customer, I did this, too – internet with a bundled basic cable package. I returned the cable box to Comcast years later still in the unopened shipping box it first arrived in.

The Comcast remote control has to be one of the most poorly designed consumer objects ever.

Wasn't YouTubeTV $35 a year or so ago?

That is quite the hike. Sort of reminds me of cable companies.
It doesn’t feel like a price hike...they’re just pricing it to the market & everyone...new or existing pays the same price. Whereas a cable company if left unchecked will escalate you over the years to $160 for the same thing that you were paying $50 for. I can’t imagine that YTTV will ever leave you feeling like you got Fd as your cable company did

Yeah, this was just a backdoor way to undermine net neutrality. I don't dislike it in a vacuum but it's a slippery slope to some shady stuff.
Yeah I prolly shouldn't remind people of this since I use mint mobile

I have Hulu and generally like it, but the interface is brutal
Usability in general is brutal. Funky popout sidebar, defaults to recent channels instead of all channels, the guide doesn't update to current programming unless you refresh (at least on PC, it does on mobile platforms though). If it weren't for their library of stuff I would have left for YTTV already.
