Transfers heating up...as needed

My dad is friends with an English lord who let us rent his summer estate while he was hunting in Africa. Nice place, something like a thousand acres, stocked with deer and foxes, vineyard, private range, the whole nine. The food around that place was pretty good, it had a ton of those little upscale pubs and a curry place that might as well have been Hogwarts it was so hard to find. It was in a back alley between a haberdasher and three law firms (you had to go into a door in a wall between two of them and into a basement), behind some kind of royal garden. It was good, though the way London curry is hyped, I don't know if anything could really live up to the billing.

Anyway, the UK does suck. I have no plans to ever go back.
Bah. I like the UK or at least certain aspects of it. And while I would agree with you that British food sucked years ago, there has been quite a renaissance in their food scene over the past few years.

AAMOF, they're #7 on the list of cities with the most Michelin stars. San Francisco, Singapore, Berlin & Chicago are noted for their food but have fewer Michelin starred restaurants than London has in 2019.

Seriously? I love the UK. My wife and I are really into English lit and history and culture. Of course, much of the UK is nothing like the historical elements that we romanticize. Still, we love going over there.

But did you drive?

If you're ever in London, go to the XO restaurant. Outstanding food. Great wine selection. We take clients there a lot. Just off the Thames with a view of St Pauls

I didn't say the food sucked, I said the food was good.

Yeah, didn't like the place much at all. I won't argue with anyone who does, I just didn't enjoy it after three trips and gave up. I don't like Vegas, either, and I hear that's great too.

It's not too far-fetched, if you look at the technology being exploited in training athletes today. Body monitoring, GPS vests, nutrition science, data analysis is all part of the game now. I would think there would be some demand in the market for prepared graduates.

Our players know that they don’t need to get paid in college. If your lucky to come play for The Dawgs there’s a great chance you’re going to be cashing big NFL checks soon enough.
lol. "Great chance". How many players on your team? How many actually end up making an NFL roster? 5% is very generous.

When Georgie's chance of winning a natty is less than 1%, that makes 5% look like a "great chance."

MAKE IT EASY!

My bad hoss. I'll drop the calculus requirement for you. We'll add in some massage therapy classes and they can work on the volleyball and swimmin' teams.
