Just to remind everyone about the best flyover of all time

I was front row south side student section next to the gold fellas. I didn't even see the F-18s until they were over the upper north. My ears were ringing until the second quarter.

I was in CL getting a beer and didn't see it, but it shook the stadium like a small earthquake. I hope it isn't true, but I heard those 2 pilots were grounded for that incident.

how does this one compare to the notre dame game flyover? that was epic, but i wasnt there for WF

I was second row behind gold fellas. What a game!

I was painted up with goodfellas. It was loud AF. Whole stadium was shaking. Excellent.

Miami 06 was better.... But probably because I was on the upper row of the north stands. Pissed my pants and had to take my underwear off.

I sit in lower east, and wasn't blown away by the 2009 flyover. It looks like it was cooler if you were in the upper deck. I like the fast flyovers a better, blasting through with the afterburner lit.

I knew one of the pilots for 2009 - he lived across the hall from me when he was a freshman, and we ran into him at a few road games (like Clemson, UVA, and Maryland or something) over the years.

I thought the stadium was going to collapse it was shaking so hard the in the upper stands.

Sucks those guys lost their wings over this.
Wonder how life has turned out for them 10 years later. Hope this incident has, in the long run, been more a credit than a debit to them.

I was in the upper north. Two old Tennessee fans were sitting next to me, who'd come down because they were option football fans. One was a Vietnam vet. He got serious PTSD from the thing, like, he dove to the ground and was freaked out for at least the first quarter, maybe the whole game.

This was without doubt more awesome, no doubt.

Without exaggeration one bit, we were in the upper North, and when they flew overhead, we could feel the wind against our faces from the jet exhaust. My neighbor with me said he actually thought it would blow his hat off.

The craziest I have seen on video was at the USNA ( vs TCU I think) and the jet appeared to be at least level with the stadium lights, if not below.

I was in the upper north. I almost cried it was so awesome

I happened to be in the UN for that game, as well. Felt like you could reach up and touch the underside of the jets.
