New GT Prez ...

Just read somewhere that we just got a committment - or was it an offer - anyway whatever from the son of that super fast guy who played for F$U and the Falcons, Braves and Bulls and Washington Capitals. What a week this has been.

GMU Redditors seem to be happy to be rid of him. Not sure if that is a good or bad sign.

I read through most of the top link, I didn't see anything of substance in that link from the people who said he did a bad job. He couldn't be worse than Peterson at least.

“Dozens of students came out to the town hall...”. Wow what a turnout!

I fully expect a school administrator to stand up for what is right against a group of antiAmerican, probably antiSemite, spoiled brats.

I'm not in any big hurry to dismiss the concerns of those who have been the victims of abusers. So while "dozens of students" turned out, I figure a reasonable share of those dozens are legitimate victims of sexual abuse, we should not dismiss them. Their concern may or may not have a bearing on the decision of whether or not to hire BK (since the evidence against BK is unsubstantiated) but they have a right to be heard. So I support Cabrera's decision to stick to his guns but if that requires that we allow some sexual abuse victims to share their story then that is a pretty nominal cost that we can certainly bear.

I once played the lottery and won $2 bucks. It was an amazing feeling

So you only played once and doubled your money? Tip of the hat, sir.

Or, are you saying that on one occasion of playing the lottery, you actually won. In which case, tip of the hat withdrawn.

Share their story - absolutely.

Crucify an innocent man - burn in hades.
