Uni News...Sad

I thought the helmets were fine. They were subtle enough IMO. The jerseys were trash though.

That said, I also don't think they'd really fit with the design direction of the adidas unis and am not really sad to see them go.
This. If the uniform hadn't been an abortion of bubble wrap and Russell ööööery, those helmets would have been great.

I like the Honeycomb because the players like them. We don't even know what these versions will look like and some are already negative. :heelclick: Off season is on.

Absolutely agree. The helmets were what I was referring to. I had forgotten the jerseys had honeycomb as well. I also don't think they match Adidas's vision. I liked our helmets being unique (no other college has that look), and I did like the look of honeycomb on them.

The chicken wire (the helmets and/or the uniform abomination) were horrid. It looked like it was drawn up in MS Paint by Russell’s lowest level designers over a long weekend coke binge.

I can’t believe Tech ever sullied it’s image by allowing that to see the light of day.

Haven't heard much from Todd Stansbury lately.

You can't believe we'd do something like this? The same school that sells cheddar cheese orange Tech apparel in the on-campus bookstore?
