Barstool sports says keep the TO

If we could have convinced Dwyer type BB's and Spiller type AB's to come play our option game, with a D. Thomas at WR, the 3-O or flexbone would have worked fine. As it was, the perception of the offense as 3 yards and a cloud of duat hurt us, even though we showed we hit for big plays quite often

We produced the most efficient offense in modern history with Laskey, Days, Smelter, Waller, Perkins, and Hill at the skill positions.

Tech has been playing football since 1893. Where has he been? Oh wait.

I dunno, seems to me it's the jimmies and joes and today the jimmies and joe's want to play on sundays and they don't perceive the TO getting them there.

FYI the author played QB at UNC. He also was a GA, the one who wore NFL jersies (i.e. Julius Peppers) on the sidelines so players could easily find him for playcalling. Funny/weird dude just trying to write a funny article.

And we beat Clemson, U[sic]GA, and Miss State that year.

Also, Miss ST's defensive coordinator left their program to go DC at Florida before the Orange Bowl so Miss ST's D was less organized and did not make good 2nd half adjustments.

What was that coordinator's name?

Look - tongue in cheek whatever. I am going to miss it. I will still be all about GT football but ..... while there were times the TO got boring when it wasn't working, for the most part it was beautiful. Games like VT last year and Miss St in the Orange Bowl had me crying I was laughing so hard. It was so simple, high schoolish and from another century yet so deadly. They laughed at it but they couldn't stop it. And it was different. I do get tired of seeing the same offenses. For that reason, I am somewhat interested to watch the Ravens this year who are committed to running the ball. Other NFL coaches are saying they are doing some innovative blocking. Which to me sounds like Johnson. Will be interesting to see how they do.
