I saw online that it shows visitor seating block @ the clemson game is lower section V and then possibly some in T section. Anyone know if that is still accurate?
Who all is making the trip up to see the kickoff of the season? Hoping for a decent turnout for the new crews initial showing for sure.

My GTAA ticket rep told me that tickets purchased through them would be in the upper corners. Sections V/T I think is where Clemson typically puts our band and the athletes parents.

The last play I ever saw at Clemson was Orwin taking a kickoff one yard out of the end zone and then promptly taking a knee in the end zone. I left after that. I'm hopeful that we see less of this.

Thought that was Miami at home?

That was a home game against Miami.

Nope. I mean, maybe it happened then as well, but the play I'm referring to happened in front of my eyes.

You know, that may have been a running play now that I think about it...

Either way, I left after it happened. It was the nail in the coffin for me on that season.

I figured there had to be a catch to what I read...thought my rep said the same thing.

There was a similar play that happened against Clemson in 2016 but occurred during an interception. Iirc, one of the Austin twins picked the ball off in the endzone and tried to run it out. One of safeties or linebackers accidentally hit him just outside of the end zone and ball was fumbled back into the endzone. We had to dive on it for a safety.

Yep, home game against Clemson. Quick box score check shows the safety @originalwombat remembers happened on an Orwin Smith rush attempt in 2013. It made it 40-31 Clemson with 10 minutes left and pretty much ended any hope of winning.
