Per MOTG, here are the new uniforms...

I know some people don't like fashion conversations, but as a designer, I do...

At first glance, I'm not a big fan. It's clear they went more "old gold," like the helmets we've seen at practice, which will make a lot of people happy.

I liked our classic look, and I did like the gold jerseys, but I just don't like that we went all Miami/Arena League, but whatever. I'm surprised CPJ is the one to go more modern.

As long as we have the GT on the helmet and not buzz like I've heard some say, I'm sure we'll look alright.

Man, I'm gettin excited for football, though...
 
I too liked the classic jersey look with a solid color throughout the background.

At least it's better than the monstrosities that Oregon and UF have rolled out in recent years.
 
More Old Gold is a plus. The pattern is a minus. At least we have our throwbacks.

From an insider it's my understanding the team got to choose design. Wait till you see the gold ones, it took me a little time to get used to it. I beleive there are blue ones as well.
 
So that's a confirmation?

As long as our boys like them, they're perfect.

FWIW, I was at practice today, and saw a kid wearing one of these while gathering autographs. The color gold on the new jerseys looks way better in the sunlight than it does in these pictures. Also, It is a great match to the new helmet color that the team has been wearing during practice. I was skeptical after seeing these pictures online, but the color really shines in the sun, and looks impressively metallic. Think more shiny, and less green than last year.
 
I hope they are the tight ones like the nike uni's everyone wears. They look really sharp and i cant wait to see the NAVY ones!!
 
Since the players are the ones who have to wear em, if they like em I like em.

I think they are sweet!!!! The old gold is great. Now we need to all go out and buy new GT wear. I know I will buy a jersey and any other new t shirts. We need to do our part and purchase the new stuff to show support and generate revenue.

Not crazy about the new look, liked the old ones better but since the team chose what they wanted, it's fine with me.
I just hope the new look does NOT include having players run out on the field with their pants sagging so low their hind ends hang out.
 
Absolute crap. Completely bush league. We'll probably never go back to our timeless look now that the players are deciding. It's so short sighted.
 
I have to say, I love the fully gold uniforms.

But a new era at Tech needs a new apperance.

I don't like that line on the middle very much.

The way our offense will be playing, you won't be able to see the uniforms anyway.

Which timeless look are you referrring to? White with gold numbers, white with blue numbers, gold, old gold, blue, jerseys with stripes on the sleeves or without? gold helmets or white, gold with stripes, gold with the GT or gold without? We've worn all those in my lifetime...so I'm not sure which ones you like.
 
Oh no, change at Georgia Tech. Lets go with the uniforms from the 1930's and yeah lets wear leather helmets too. While we are at it, let try to win with all white players because desegregation never should have occurred.

Get over it! This is for the players, not a bunch of set in their ways, middle age, wonder bread eating white men.
