They should broadcast on ACCN for the ACCN footprint and on ESPN for the rest of the country.
What was the show last year that featured former coaches analyzing the game as it was shown? That would be pretty good to show on the standard ESPN.

I think you may have sadly underestimated most college football fans. There is the UF/Miami game on 8/24 along with a handful of other nobodies playing, but then on Thursday night, there is nothing else on besides preseason NFL. I believe there will be a rather large TV audience for this Gameday as well as the game itself. ACCN will likely be in most markets by then.
Maybe I am; but I am doubtful most markets west of the Mississippi will pick up the ACCN. I hear fans on here complain about us getting sent to ESPN2; much less FXSouth, and some sidewalk fans don't watch when the GTvsUGA game is on SECN. You lose viewers when you go to off the beaten path networks, particularly if they have to buy another provider (Hulu, YouTubeTV) to watch. There will be sports bars across the country that probably won't have access to the game so they will just show what is on ESPN.

This. Being on a national stage, there is no better way for the college football world to see that we are not running the 3O anymore and that we play against top teams every year. It is extremely great for recruits to see this. Game outcome is really irrelevant unless we keep it tight all the way or win.
Unless we lose by 40 + points, have 105 yards total offense, are 3 of 16 on third down, only cross the 50 yard line twice, get picked three times, lose four fumbles, and have two kicks blocked.

I just hope our offense can be better than this on 50% of our drives unlike last year:

3 plays, -25 yd, fumble, defensive TD
3 plays, 0 yd, punt
3 plays, -3 yd, punt
3 plays, -4 yd, punt
6 plays, 10 yd, punt
3 plays, -6 yd, punt

This. Hell, I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to watch it here in Atlanta. Most likely going to have to do a Hulu TV or YoutubeTV trial subscription unless DIRECTV Now picks it up.

Just drop DirecTV and switch to YouTube TV. You won't be sorry.

Most likely, ESPN College GameDay will take a national approach to the first hour of its show and the panel of experts will begin by looking at the nation as a whole.

However, it’s clear that the group will also focus specifically on the ACC in the broadcast and that means there will be a huge celebration of Clemson football.

It’s likely that we’ll see several features pertaining to Clemson, especially on topics like Dabo Swinney, Trevor Lawrence and replacing the Power Rangers. The crew will likely discuss Clemson-Alabama and how the Tigers have ascended to the top of the nation.

Either way, it’s clear that this broadcast is only being done to celebrate Clemson and promote the ACC Network. The game itself isn’t expected to be all that competitive or intriguing, and I highly doubt we’ll hear ESPN College GameDay break down Clemson vs. Georgia Tech in much depth. Instead, expect them to focus on the Tigers and the success expected ahead.

It will be almost as if ESPN College GameDay showed up in Clemson just to talk about the Tigers. An exclusive broadcast.
Either this is some legitimately masterful trolling, or for the first time in my life I've just read retard-fetish erotic literature and it still hasn't answered my question of whether they take the helmet off when they masturbate.

I know Clemson's recruiting almost guarantees that they can reload, as opposed to rebuild, but they lost 7 starters from their defense, including 4 DL and a CB to the NFL draft. I don't think they will be as dominant on defense this season. Maybe we can throw a few wrinkles at them and move the ball some, especially with it being the first game of the season and the Tech offense being a little bit of a mystery.

Lol these Clemson homers are really full of themselves:

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets
Best case: 3-9, 1-7 — Much like Duke this season, Georgia Tech's opener is unwinnable. A road game at top-ranked Clemson with a team undergoing a complete-180 philosophical shift usually means a multi-touchdown loss that'll need to be flushed quickly. USF in the home opener the following week presents an intriguing challenge.

Worst case: 1-11, 0-8 — Tough sledding for first-year coach Geoff Collins, who may be favored in three games tops. The Yellow Jackets will have a chance to win three games in September, but after that, don't expect much.

I actually think it will be a respectable game for a while. Sort of a 1990’s FSU type game.
