Recruit RB Gibbs runs for over 400 yds and 8 touchdowns

It’s hard to tell a kid who I’m sure has sights set on the NFL that this degree means more than that degree. Also, I don’t know these guy’s personal situation....but I’m sure many will be the most educated person in their family with any college degree.

All that said, we just need to keep crootin’ and get these signatures in December! CGC knows the game and will play it accordingly I’m sure.

Hopefully we can hold on to him, but we will occasionally lose some of these early commits to schools that swoop in last minute. It happens to everyone. We were the beneficiary of this last year with Jamious Griffin, who had been "committed" to NC State from May to January.

Yup. Moved to Ringgold my sophmore year of high school, and graduated a Tiger.

Good job on beating Heritage last night. Those guys suck.

We generally sucked when I was in school. One of my best friends growing up covers the NW Ga sports beat for the FreePress. He was covering that game last night.

Bullshit. There are a lot of recruits who consider LSU a junk school. Disappointed Gibbs doesn't

I am sure there are some recruits like that, but could you name some?

I am sure there are some that feel the same way about our future football chances . I can't name any but odds would dictate that may be true.

But if you are uncomfortable with GT recruiting at a higher level, and just expecting us to be able to sit back in the lazy-boy after they commit, IDK what to tell you. Except things are different now.

And I wonder if you think recruits thought GT was a s..t school due to the administration we just had that attacked the Bill of Rights protections of certain groups of students? Or due to the fact we had some scumbag administrators stealing from the taxpayers.

Stop being butthurt about my comment. LSU is a shiat school

For some of the recruiting experts here, I heard someone say that we used a lot of our visits relatively early in the process and that we'd have to fend off others that had visits left. Is this true? Thoughts on the approach?

I live in Dalton and saw a friend last night at local concert that knows him and supporting family. Said he is a great kid and will come to Tech UNLESS the mutts offer.

If this is true , he is not committed. You should show him their depth chart. Two years if not one, he will enter the transfer portal. If you have connections like you say, this is something I would provide to him and his family.

I recommend we NOT put much trust in something a friend of a friend said regarding the kid, mmmmkay?

You must be fun at parties.
