2020 Recruiting

VT is currently last in the ACC in recruiting. Shocking. Is the gig really up for them? 49-21 felt so right last year.

Beginning of the end...

Just where is GT headed? We are, over the next N years, going to recruit at a level higher than we've ever seen. We did pretty good in the G'OL years, but does it compare with the current trajectory? Those teams were still considered offensive-scheme heavy, and had relatively weak defenses. They weren't complete. We recruited fairly well and the coaching staff was elite.

In 3 or 4 years, we're likely to have as complete an assortment of talent as we have had since 1990.

What does this mean??
Only 25 or less bees eligible to be passed out each year. We have 21. We could get a commit from a group of three, and possibly 1 more if we have 1 more to give.

Then we are all out of bees.

With early enrollees, we could go past 25.

Morton would be an EE. Believe Gleason is one too. Probably be a couple more too? So we can creep above 25 if we have room on the roster.

Had said in another thread, the roster is already gonna be 2/3 of the way turned over by the start of the 2020 season between attrition and the transfer portal.

20 - Watkins opened his recruitment back up and I don't suspect he'll be returning.
