Official Gameday Thread - Battle of Death Valley

We just have to capitalize on mistakes. 3 turnovers forced by the defense - excellent.

Stupid 16 yard punt and muffed punt - less than excellent.

Offense incapable of doing anything and turning the ball over - awful.

Could fairly easily be 14-7 or 14-10. I was expecting this score but the way we’ve gotten there has just been a series of miscues.

Oh man, I thought maybe since this was the first game against an opponent no one gave us a chance against it would be chiller than normal in the game thread. I was mistaken.
It's called passion, fam.

I think the real test of this staff is can they keep our recruiting class together after games like this. I don’t think this will be the last time this year we look outclassed offensively. We are trying to speak a new language

That’s what I’m more worried about. We’ve been marketing ourselves as a new regime. With a balanced offense. If we’re gonna get out öööö kicked in, I’d rather do it at least trying to do what we’ve been promising we’d do. So throw the damn ball. Give Brown one damn touch.

The D is playing well consider what we have for a DL. I hope the O is saving something for the 2nd half because what we saw in the 1st half wasn't just boring and unimaginative, it was pathetic. Playing that style offense will destroy that recruiting edge you guys were hoping for.
