New Band Uniforms

I know we've been talking a lot about the game last night and I don't like to be negative but did anyone else see the new band uniforms last night. SHORT SLEEVE band uniforms. Really ugly in my opinion. I see what they were trying to do with the two stinger concept that's part of our new branding but the old uniforms were way better. Stick with the traditional look.

Looks good to me & surely has to be cooler for August & September games.

I thought they look like some öööö Russell came up with. We went from one of the best looking band uniforms to the worst and that is not because of the short sleeves.

Why’d I get a big cry? It’s a legit question. What’s the point of band uniforms other than having a consistent look and showing which team you support?
 
We’ve had the misfortune of getting caught up amongst the band members walking back to the truck after a game in the hot Atlanta fall. I for one welcome them wearing something cooler than those old hot uniforms they wore.

Someone really wants GT band to be a drum corp...
Those unis are really "artistic"
 
The beauty of CFB is in large part due to tradition.

Our band does a great job I believe, but these unis remind me of The Jetsons.

Think of the great college bands - Tenn, UT, aTm, usc, n.d., Michigan and many more.

Can you envision them wearing these regardless of heat, cold, rain, sleet, snow?

Just the opposite of what the program needs right now.
 
Of all the things to give any öööös about this, this ranks right under the hummingbird I saw fly by me while i was walking my dog today.

These uniforms will help us recruit a higher level of student-band-athlete.
