We will beat USF

Georgia is not in the same league as Clemson. They've been lucky lately. Texas gave them some reality last season.

They're in the same league, but in typical mutt fashion they don't have the hardware to prove they're in the same league

The way Lawrence played, UGA likely would have beaten Clemson, UGA might have the best OL & the best RB tandem in the country

You give no credit to GT here. The first interception was great play by us setting up a bad decision by Lawrence, it’s not a given ugag can or is going to try to do the same thing only your opinion that if we can they will. We had few great plays in the game they need to be highlighted and appreciated by us fans. The second was a bad throw, happens to all QB at times. I would believe their composure would be slightly more focused in a close game against top 10 ugag rather than 28-0 against GT. They were essentially practicing against us after the first quarter.

Doesn't UGAg always claim to have the best running back tandem in the country?

Didn't mean to make it seem that way

before the game I thought our DBs would play well in pass coverage

Because of that I honestly thought that gm would be decided in the 4th Qtr

The main reason I want to win this game is so the whiny stingtalkers wanting to compare the game to last season will shut up.

1 thing I can guarantee to CGC's detractors

There is no way in Hades that we let them house 2 KOs against us

We will tackle much better on STs

How many Wisconsin kicks did they return for TDs last night?

Me and my dad we’re discussing how in the world do you beat Clemson or Georgia when they perform the way they do. My answer was you beat va tech, duke, Miami, Pitt, and all of your other opponents first. By beating them regularly then we will get ranked regularly and have the exposure we need to recruit to beat them.

Collins will get us exposure in a positive way. Recruits won’t remember this game. We’ve all talked about rebuilding years and now we realize the pain of what that takes. But with a victory next week y’all gonna be some smilin motha ööööers and say damn, Marcellus Wallace was right.
Yes this. Dabo got his butt kicked five years in a row by Spurrier but he started beating almost everybody else. It bought him time to keep recruiting better and hiring better. Now, Collins does not have to win big until 2021 but 6 wins this year and next would go a long way in building credibility.

Based on this:

No other GT HC got boat raced by MTSU or lost to a horrible Kansas State program either

In fact CPJ is the only GT HC that could recruit so poorly that he was able to ELEVATE Dook's FB Program with all the Academic Qualifiers from GA HSs that went to Dook to play in a more traditional, less gimmicky Offense

CPJ is the guy most responsible for the CFB Renaissance at places like Dook & Kentucky, his poor recrootin was literally forcing GA HS players onto those guys rosters helping them win games that most thought they'd never win

CPJ's recrootin was a program builder, it just so happens it was other programs that he built

and this:

The College game is morphing ever so close to the NFL Game

Talent wise wrt to future NFL players, CGC did take over a dead program

Final standings in the ACC Coastal isn't the only barometer to use

How do you expect CGC to pull off this:

1 thing I can guarantee to CGC's detractors

The answer is he can't if our players are half as terrible as you say they are. The truth is it is highly unlikely this happens again because the team's talent level is far better than you think and good enough to keep this from happening.

Regardless, whiny stingtalkers will compare the game to last season, just a different flavor of whiny.

We will win this year because (1) we won’t keep kicking to a guy who put about 280 yards on our ST and (2) our defense was ready to play for game 1 and should be better game 2.

Certainly there's a lot of hyperbole thrown around when it comes to our talent level. We don't have FCS/DII/whatever other talent people sometimes like to claim we have, but our talent is middling to low-end for a P5 school. I'd say since 2010 we've had 5-7 win talent basically every year except maybe 2014. Some years our schematic advantage allowed us to perform better than our talent level would indicate we should, and in 2015 we performed below our level of talent.

SF is an enigma to me. Strong was pretty good at Louisville. SFla is regressing under his "tutelage."

At SC and UF, he was one of the best defensive coordinators I've ever seen. I think he'll be back to doing that soon.

2015 was an injury ööööshow. Our talent level took a dip because of the 2016(?) class that just fell apart over the last few years.

I am excited that UT, VT, and South Car could look like garbage this year. We could reap a recruiting haul.
