Mack Brown

The Muschamp hire was a terrible one. If you can't win at UF with their talent, how the hell are you going to win in Columbia with their lack of talent?
Muschamp won't be coaching there in 2020. He might get fired mid-season. It's a train wreck there.
Georgia Tech is perfectly positioned to become dominant in the southeast region. You are spot on about Muschamp--my choice to coach at Tech once upon a time. But Pruitt at Tennessee, Fuente in Blacksburg, Manny Diaz, Mack Brown won't last at UNC, and it is a true dumpster fire in Tallahassee. If--a big if-- but if, Collins is the real deal, we have a chance to change the narrative for years to come.

We need to sustain this time. We had a chance after 1990 to kick the ACC and UGAg in their teeth. We had a chance when Joe Hamilton and George Godsey were here. There was no darker time than 94 for GT football and we recovered. We need to follow the path and sustain success

I sort of thought the same thing as you, but later realized our facilities sucked at that time, yes Homer Rice did a hell of a job beginning a resurrection of our FB program beginning with the Edge Bldg, but IMO we still had a long way to go, but not now, our facilities have come a long way towards being caught up, not quite there but almost, believe we will be there soon, so think we have a chance to be a big time program quickly and have the right folks in place to do it. We have a good chance to build momentum and then become self sustaining as you mention. Also, I've heard people from other schools with big stadiums say they really like watching games in our stadium because you are close to the field, not too big etc, may not be true if you're in upper west but otherwise think they are right.

Fsu ran jimbo out of town for this. Lol. Pathetic. I hope they get the UT record after they ran fat fulmer out of town
