LJ looked a tad slower than graham Yates and Tobias. Tobias is fast as lightning l.

I’ll take a heavy dose of Oliver with Graham coming in to throw. Maybe plug in Yates.

Let’s do this.

I guess Lucas J just evaporated in thin air.
No way.....I believe people will be surprised what he can do.....if given the chance to fail a little, and then improve a lot. People forget how Little Joe struggled a bit and the took off. No, I'm not equating the two.

And Godsey. When I first saw him play for GT, I thought we would never win another game. But, he got a lot better and very quickly. Good enough to be there to witness TIAR.

Folks want to see James toss some strikes.

Let’s do this.

Defenses could predict the play by the personnel set on the field.

Maybe Ralph Friedgen and Bill O'Brien >Dave Patenaude?

Yeah, the only way to fool a defense that way would be to let Oliver throw some bombs, since no one would be expecting that.
This is the issue with having packages for each QB.

1 game in, I get the impression we could be a relatively balanced offense with Graham or LJ, but not with Oliver. But we will see - still too early to know what these guys can really do. Clemson game 1 isn’t a great way to get a good feel for the new O.

Anyone but Tobias. Find somewhere else for him to contribute and commit to passing at QB.

I hope I'm not breaking a rule but TO is in his 3rd yr out of HS, that makes him draft eligible, not that he's got any chance of being drafted, my point is is that after this much time in College with College coaching & development for him to still have throwing mechanics this poor means that he's never gonna be an FBS QB much less a P5 QB

I would hope our Coaches would be smart enough to come up with a similar analysis, but maybe this is an indication as to what our QB Depth Chart looks like, Yates included

Outside of Graham it is possible that we don't have any P5 QBs on the Roster right now

Remember VT wanted Graham as an Athlete or DB

What is it about us, we must be the only "academic school" in the P5 that has trouble finding pass first QBs

It'd be nice to have a survey of the Top25 Pro-Style QBs coming out of HS and ask them what is their perception of GT FB, also ask what it would take for them to sign with GT

I'm curious as to what answers I would get

I've never understood why we have been so snakebit at that position, one would think that GT would always have QBs & OLinemen

Seriously? Hmm. Why would we not have a plethora of pass-first QBs? Defies logic. :dunno:

Over the last 50 years of CFB places like Purdue, Stanford, Cal, ND, etc have had more success with recrootin passing QBs than GT has

For the typical FB Recruit that majors in Business or Communications it seems like those places have been much more successful than we have at getting Pro-Style QBs and OLinemen for the most part

50 years is a long time to have 1 Rick Strom & 1 Joe Ham, has any other GT QBs in the last 50 yrs even sniffed an NFL Roster?

As far as Academic Schools go we seem to get much less than our fair share
