Hope Monken and the Knights

I’m a huge Monken and option fan. I think he would have been a good hire for us. But CGC is a great one too.

If we weren’t in a super talent rich area competing with many schools for talent Monken would be ideal IMO. Because the fact remains that the Uber talented players did not want to come play for us. But we have the opportunity to get those talented players and CGC is committed to doing it. Go Jackets!

the problem is that too many of today's players are more than happy to ride the bench for a football factory with ridiculous dreams of the NFL, than actually play for GT..

That was true when we were running the option. There are players in the incoming class who will probably see the nfl.

If CGC had run an actual goal-line set on any of the four snaps we took from CU's two yard line, I'd be more apt to agree. Hopefully he learns from it.

I love the option and even wanted Monken as our coach, but we shouldn't be talking about the what-if scenarios anymore. We got CGC and we gotta be all in.

The Big10 is at a different level than THE ACC, just look at how profitable the BTN is vs the ACCN

Maryland's been getting great QB play since the last half of last season plus they have some speedy skill guys
 
If Army had a semblance of a 2-minute package, they would've won in regulation. Alas, on to OT.
