Our offense is unimaginative

I think it’s very imaginative. Just not executed well. I saw a little of Friedgen today with the play calling. Just need the players.
Yeah, I agree with this. We tried all kinds of different stuff - we were just pretty bad at all of it.

It's gonna be a tough season offensively. The fact that we are so used to being really efficient on offense makes it even harder. We're only two games in, though, so we have to be patient. I still think Graham may be the guy long term, but he's obviously not ready yet.

Way to throw the kids under the bus. Most of those same players put up over 600 yards on USF last year. We even passed for 183 yards (66 today).

We have enough talent to do better than that. It's just gonna take time.
And lost.

With the OL injuries, I am wondering if we should run the option this year.

I love this team! But realistically, we do not have the players and may only win one more game.

But maybe winning means something too?? Just curious if you're aware that is the goal

We knew this was going to be a tough year. I kept reminding myself this the entire game. As already mentioned, we trying to race cars with in our 4-cylinder corolla. We have skill position players that havent run a normal WR route tree since high school. We have RB's who haven't had to read a hole since HS. We have OL who dont know how to pass block (regardless of what CPJ tweets). We are slow on offense. We are slow on defense in some critical areas. It's going to take more than one recruiting class to fix this. This is exactly why non-military academy schools resist the triple option so much... it's a full program commitment and to undo it will take years.

Not really, lost a lot on the OL especially if you add in the injuries from today.

Plus, we are trying to implement the new scheme and principles, building for 2 years from now.
