I came across this web site while actually doing a search for Georgia Tech football overall coaching records. I got sidetracked from that as this is a pretty cool data source for the history of Georgia Tech football vs opponents.

In another thread -I think it was "2021 Games at MBS" a discussion of potential future opponents ensued.

Here are a couple of simple lists that I complied from the above link:

Top 10 P5 opponents by number of games played (excluding ACC teams and UGA)-

1. Auburn
2. Alabama
3. Tennessee
4. Vanderbilt
5. Florida
6. Notre Dame
7. South Carolina
8. Maryland*
9. Kentucky
10. LSU

Top 5 non-P5 opponents by number of games played (excluding teams that either no longer exist or would not be a suitable opponent)-

1. Tulane
2. Navy
3. VMI
4. Furman
5. Citadel

Any number of lists could potentially be pulled together.

Edit: Thanks BranMart

Tulane and Navy are not P5.

What you have is FBS and FCS.

Tulane and Navy I maybe might have guessed. Pretty cool factoid that we have played Citadel so much.

Thanks, guys! We started the site a few years ago and actually had bigger ideas from the get-go, but we basically just maintain the original site. If anyone is/knows a developer that loves football that would want to help, maybe we'll get some of those bigger ideas going again.

They already announced MBS games will be an ACC game...2021 most likely be VA Tech.... 2023 Louisville... Will probably also be played in Sept if they are smart... Use one of the Hot 90 plus degree Home games that are not well attended and get indoors..
