Patenaude might not be terrible, but he was today.
Said it before and I’ll say it again, the guy is in waaaaayyyy over his head.I'm 100% onboard the fire paterdouche train
That was harder to watch than Groh vs MTSU.I am still 100% behind Collins but if he doesn’t fire Patenaude I won’t be for long. He honestly is the worst OC I’ve ever seen at any level.
That’s my biggest fear.Hope he's not to Collins like Sewak was to Johnson
Collins-Patenaude had better not be the same suicide pact that Johnson-Sewak was. If I were AD I woudn't fire Patenaude today ... but when I do fire him it would be for today. First P5 on the market for an OC. Go get Ralph Friedgen from his beach place near Charleston and have him come in this year as a consultant (read: acting OC) and as somebody who can vet your next hire thoroughly. That’s my biggest fear.
GT completed some passes today but the receivers didn’t create much, if any, separation. And that was against an FCS defense that gave an average of 471 yards against FCS opponents.
Don't fool yourself. Lucas Johnson as a starting QB at the D1 level is a pipe dream. Huge understatement btw. How long b4 404 catches up? Yates? IDK maybe? This öööö is on the staff.GT completed some passes today but the receivers didn’t create much, if any, separation. Feel that. Did they say that tho? Not sure.I’m just tired of them saying this is a “Pro style” offense. I know they have an uphill battle, but geez don’t tell me this offense is pro style
