This. Some of these posters have insanely gold-colored glasses on. This is going to be a painful transition. Accept it. If you can't, I'm sure Alabama has room for some more bandwagon fans.
We realize it’s going to be a transition. But transitions can be helped by incorporating some of our prior schemes. Like not lining up in the shotgun with 1 yard to gain.

I get it. We should win easily, but if you asked anyone which P5 team is most likely to lose to an FCS this year, we would've been near the top of a lot of people's lists. People tried to warn us how bad we would be, and we didnt want to hear it.
Y'all like to think the last-in-the-ACC predictions were all because of the talent. Y'all are completely missing the point that Collins' reputation as a weak game day coach was baked in those predictions too.

The main reason it’s going to be a painful transition is because CPJ was a hall of fame college football coach and CGC should be selling used Kias.

It’s a shame we are a team “built on effort” instead of one built on winning.

Unless the transitionincludes getting coaches that can coach, I'm scared the transition is complete

Bullshit, with the coaching that was on display today, this staff wouldn't win 7 games if they had both Clemson and Alabamas players all on techs roster.
The coaches weren't the ones in the trenches getting knocked on their butts by an OL that was obviously bigger, stronger and faster.
This loss is not on CPJ when with the same roster he would have at least eaten his cupcake without ööööting himself.
Agree.
But he would also go to some meaningless bowl, lose to a Minnesota and sign another class in February that offered us no upward movement over the long haul.
It's called "rebuilding". Give it time. Dabo and Saban had the same growing pains, but they inherited rosters that were magnitudes more talented than the on CJC inherited.

What would he explain? Iiwii.

There's no good reason for this team to lose to Citadel. The upside of that is that it really shouldn't take much to turn us into a team that can win acc games.

I'm not that down about it. Interesting game and the TO is tough. I do question the continued play of Johnson instead of Oliver. It just seems very obvious Oliver is so much better no matter what down it is. The defense was undisciplined but played hard and just got beat.

Y'all can be Internet tough guy all you want and want to fire a coach 3 games into 7 years contract (you got the buyout money, right?)

It's both a painful transition and also very bad day of coaching by Collins. Lack of head coaching experience showed itself today.

The transition is complete? Its ööööing game 3 of a new coach and system. Settle down, dude.

Why don't you give CGC a chance to make some changes? How bout allowing him and the other coaches to adjust and see how they respond to tribulations like this loss?

Nope!
Not Collins fault.
It's crystal clear the guys wearing white were bigger, stronger and faster.
This L goes to PJ and years of recruiting classes finishing closer to 100 than to 50.

Collins wlil win. And GT will once again be sending players to the NFL. But it's going to take a full recruiting cycle of 3 or 4 years.
lol yea, because The ööööing Citadel has better athletes than us. You're on drugs.

Game three and we look worse than game one against ööööing Clemson. I'm pissed now and probably over reacting but the in game play calls make him and his staff look totally out of their league.

Somehow I don't think we're the first team to play down to their competition.
