How about this: if CGC wins his division a few times and avoids scheduling Citadel again we call it a wash?

How about this: If we put future NFL draft picks at WR, RB, FS, and the entire DL, we get ourselves an apples-to-apples comparison?

Edit: And we'd also need 2019 Clemson to regress to 2009 Clemson, since an 8-4 team was the best the Atlantic had to offer the year we won...

Still gave a team trouble that has worlds more talent than we do. They also beat SC a few years back. It sucks that we lost to an FCS team that we have the talent to beat, but I don't think we need to fire the new coach or cancel the program just yet.

again, CITADEL. We didn’t lost to Clemson today. We lost to a bad FCS team. If you’re blaming CPJ for a team he would beat by 40 then you’re gonna get ripped one here.

I’m still a CGC supporter. Both with season tickets and donations. But that gives me the right to öööö on him when he öööös up. And we just witnessed the mother of all öööö ups.

You've watched college football long enough to know that team results often vary quite a bit from year to year. The simplistic argument you're making is silly.

Of course it does. But your kicking and screaming isn't accomplishing anything. You certainly have a right to do it, though. This was a terrible loss for sure. I guess I'm just taking a long-term view on this rather than a myopic one.

You don’t have to be a great team to go to a bowl game. 6-6 gets you there. There is no way this happens with this team and a 1-11 record is not acceptable for this team in my book.

Vent.

This is the first time I’ve ever come on here after a game and bitched. Feel free to go back and look. But I feel strongly that these coaches need to stop ööööing around and start coaching football. This team looks like they were given the entire week off.
 
The question is whether this is a aberration or whether this is an indication of how we will play the rest of the season. I am much more concerned about the performance of the coach than the performance of the players. If we play and coach at this level for the remainder of the season, we will finish 1 and 11 and the losses will not be in OT. Coach Collins has to learn that some players perform better in games and some players perform much worse.
