I respect CGC and the way he responded to the media after the game. I have full faith that the future is bright for Georgia Tech football. I am excited about the future of this program fella’s, I know I’m going to get blasted for this but I got 100% confidence in our head coach and what he and this staff is putting together here.

The more I think about it, the more I want to just stop being a fan. Georgia Tech is possibly the worst team, sanity wise, in all of sports to be a fan of. I need to replace football with something else in my life

I don't know, man. Apparently I like getting punched in the nuts most of the time, so I'll stay on this ship. It's better than being a mutt, no matter how many times we öööö the bed against FCS schools.

Boozinbuzz - great point on Clemson and Bama. Maybe add mutts and Sooners. Maybe LSU. This has become a small group with chance at the big prize. Many fans are basically getting burned out. Hopes dashed early in a season. We realize there are other things to do and spend on. Interest drops. More empty seats. New coach. New and not so new coach speak. Rinse and repeat. Playoffs come and we are reduced to pulling for whoever plays the mutts. Even college football is not immune to apathy.

What is weird is that this was one of the great things about CFB before the CFP was instituted. An awful lot of teams had great ends to the year because they would beat their rival and then win a bowl game. And then several teams would be major conference champions and that was a really big deal. And maybe even 4-5 teams could make a plausible claim to being the best in the nation.

But now it's like basketball – does anybody really care who wins the ACC tourney any more? The only thing that matters is winning the national championship, and everybody else ends the season with a loss. It's harder to have a good season that doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth.

Thx! I have a long hypothesis on this idea of the modern super factories but it's too late for me tonight to get into it. I read an article from the Oklahoma site a few weeks ago that was along the same lines. One of these days I will bring them up here for discussion.

Just read this. This is even a better idea than quitting GT football. I’m sure your family supports it also.

That presser was so Jeb Bush like. Just wait for the next hashtag.

At one point he said something like “from the top down and from the bottom up” and I quit listening at that point. He reminds me of Ryan in The Office when he gets the job in corporate and turns into a cliche machine.

Words are just words. Let’s see some action!!!!
