The morning after...

Seriously, as ever the eternal optimist -season after season- when it comes to Georgia Tech football, yesterday did wake me up to the reality of where we are right now as a football team. The current season will be painful -next year will hopefully show improvement but will still be tough. If Collins and his staff can recruit like I think they can, things will get better in 2021. Until yesterday I thought 3-5 was possible in the ACC -not anymore.

There’s is no excuse for losing to The Citadel -that just shouldn’t happen. Fact is I thought our coaching staff did a poor job, our OL couldn’t outman their DL -why we don’t go under center more is beyond me, seems that more than half of the snaps were down at our QB’s ankles- and the lack of discipline, as much as anything, costs us this game -those personal foul penalties on third down stops were killers -and directly resulted in one of their TD’s.
