Time to move on

I went to a former Tech forum last month that I used to post. The format changed last year and I didn’t like it. I found that there wasn’t much activity there and started looking around for another board. I found this one and signed up.

To be fair, I normally hole up in the Fall at yet a third board - a general sport site. But I kinda like this one, at least a lot better than the old White and Mustard one. I received too many temporary bans there for speaking my mind. I’m surprised I haven’t gotten one here already. Things are looking up.

I can give you pointers if you want to add getting banned here to your resume.

First, I’m confident in what CGC can do. And it’s early. Real early.

That said, if we’d all just gotten on board with Gailey, he’d still be trying to figure out how to score more than 2 TDS against Georgie.

A little dissent is good. Just needs to be rational....

This loss was the worst in program history. 100+ years. Move on? Maybe after 4 straight wins against UGA

I'm still not over Middle Tennessee State and they were at least FBS

The Oliver TD to win but not win the game will be burned in all our memories for until we die

Disagree. A top 10 GT losing to a 6-5 UGA was the worst loss in program history when you consider what might have been moving forward from the 2009 season.

The Citadel loss, while embarrassing, will be a forgotten transitional blip on the radar if Collins and company can recruit, manage the roster, and compete in the ACC Coastal.

Nah. Any real Tech fan has had it seared into their brain that the worst loss in program history was that Furman loss in the 80s, pretty much a "transitional blip" but hardly forgettable. I didn't become a Tech fan until 1997 and I instantly thought about that Furman loss that the old timers talk about.

Regardless of what happens, resign yourself to the fact that you'll remember a game we played against the Citadel forever.

No. It isn't. Maybe you mistook someone else's post for mine.
Yeah, @coit probably thought you were this attention whore...

to do what he was hired to do. This means patience and a little forgiveness for the crap he is going to have to do and we are going to have to watch happen.

And I am not talking rebuild. CGC is at the beginning of one of the most extreme overhauls I have ever heard of a major program or school go through. This is going to be painful.

But throwing him, his decisions, his style, and all that goes with it under the bus after game 3 is unacceptable considering what we are trying to do here.

I get that some of you wanted to stay with the option, but is it too much to ask to get behind the coach and support him, at least for the sake of our program and our school? Asinine polls of "Monken or Collins" go far beyond the pale when that decision has already been made and we are in it for a minimum of 4 years.

Maybe I’ve been on stingtalk too long but nothing I’ve seen the last two days has been out of the ordinary.

If that's the case then you probably know whose an alt and whose not
