I mean Kirby Smart. Y’all watched the game last night? There were some Richt-esque characteristics to the game.

Bottom line: uga is overrated. But who cares? Maybe we shouldn’t. But I find comfort knowing the mountain we have to climb isn’t Everest, it’s just like... a regular mountain. What do y’all think about the overrated mutts?

I wasn't impressed with UGA. They would get stomped by Clemson, Alabama, LSU...

They did not look good. Their fans were expecting a blood letting and spent the entire pregame talking about how ND is overrated, sucks, etc.

They are concerned about the top end teams from the SEC west.

of which their joke schedule plays only 1 of: Auburn. Conveniently, they get to avoid Alabama and LSU until the SEC-CG. They'll lose and then Coach Sharthead will cry again about not being in the CFP.

The SEC Least is the most overrated conference in CFB. There isn't a credible threat remaining on their reg. season schedule. A&M is overrated too btw. Not a bad team but not remotely capable of beating the mutts.

The way they looked last night, it’s not going to take an elite team to beat them. I expected to see uga surgically carve up what everyone was saying was a weak ND defense. Well, ND was putting pressure on Fromm and some level of control on the running game. ND lost because of its inability to run the ball and because the crowd was really affecting ND into penalties and using timeouts. Uga did not look dominant in any area other than run defense.

If a team shuts down UGA’s run game can Fromm win a big game for them with his arm? I’m not sure he can. I also wouldn’t be surprised if Norte Dame is a 2 loss team after next week.

I think they can. We need to stop being so paranoid about this happening because it’s going to happen eventually.
So you are impressed by them squeaking by Notre Dame? UGAg has no big play threats. Swift is not as good running backs like Gurley. They are serviceable at QB, mostly he throws short routes.

I thought ND looked much better than anticipated. UGA is very good. In the same class as Clemson, Bama, Ohio State, LSU and Oklahoma. One of these 6 will win it all.
Uga will have a chance as a function of schedule. They are not in the same class as those others.

Also - they apparently have no backup plan if Fromm goes down after fields transferred. So we need to hope for people to hit him hard all year.

3-4 losses for Notre Dame this season.

Georgie being Georgie. They should run the ball as many times as a ca. 2015 Tech team. They'd go undefeated.

Uga is gonna win the natty at the end of this season.

Discuss.
I agree. I think we're almost there too IWABH. It's fairly obvious we're missing something, though...LED LIGHTS.

First, and hear me out...we need to install golden LED LIGHTS in the ENTIRE stadium.

Before you call me crazy, let me finish. Consider the following:

  • We have problems wearing the right shade of gold, or even coordinating whiteouts
  • We have depth issues
  • We have to recruit BETTER
Now, imagine if we did something like this at the start of the 4th quarter. We turn all of the golden LED lights on at the same time. I know what you're thinking. WOAH. Are you still with me? Here's where the magic happens.
  • Suddenly, everyone is wearing the SAME shade of gold. What does this mean? Coordination problems are instantly solved
  • What does glowing gold remind you of? That's right, you guessed it.

    SUPER. SAIYANS.

You can kiss those depth problems goodbye. We don't even need depth because this is going to POWER our guys up. When that golden glow hits our home whites, it'll be like giving each of our guys a senzu bean. They'll be faster and stronger than EVER with ZERO fatigue.
  • I don't think I even need to explain the recruiting edge this would give us. Just hold some OV's for a night game against an overrated team early in the season and BOOM. They'll be committing on the spot.
I've already come up with a name for this - "Power Up BDS"

What do you guys think? I thought about everyone whipping out their cellphone lights too but I wanted to be original. NO ONE has used LED stadium lights before and we'd be the FIRST.

ND could have run for 0 yards and still won that game. Kirby runs a base 3-4 with a run stop front. Notre Dame has a bad run offense. It isn’t a good match up for them. Their game plan was perfect. Kirby runs nickel and dime packages on the back end but he doesn’t rotate players, only the call on the field as it pertains to the lineup on the field. Remember the years Saban used to complain about rotating personnel? This is Kirby’s way of adapting Saban’s scheme for the spread option. Not switching players means there are spots in the zone that exploitable. You saw that a lot with the TE on drag and fly routes last night. The issue that Smart figured out quickly is that ND has no long pass game so they didn’t have to drop back their defense to account for it. It made for a lot of playing in a phone booth for ND. Beating Smart’s defense means getting guys in space against favorable matchups.
