Is the argument that we have better talent because we have the better number or that CGC successfully coached up his former players?

The latter according to Collins.

I realize there's no way to have a good press conference after a game like this, but comments like this just make you lose respect for the guy. You can say they played better than us, they beat us, credit to them etc. All that is true. Calling them one of the best in college football is a joke.

I heard it. Are you expecting him to crap on Temple? No coach does that, especially when they coached there.

As the coach of GT, I expect him to show them respect. Not ööööing try to sell me this loss as equal to Clemson, UGA, or ööööing Bama.

“One of the best front 7s in college football”

Get the öööö out of here.

We’re about to face way better talent in a ööööty Coastal.

How much respect would you gain for him if we lose out and Temple wins out? Serious question.

No, I expect him to give them credit for winning the game as they rightly deserve. But you don't have to make up pathetic excuses to explain why the offense laid an egg.

We're 4 games in and half of y'all - öööö, maybe 75% of y'all - are sure CGC and his staff are idiots and will never get it done. 4 games in.

I don't know if it'll work out or not, but I'm smart enough to know 4 games isn't enough time to determine jack öööö.

Our OL is an absolute öööö show and the DL isn't very good either. That combination would make it tough for Nick Saban to win, so God knows our staff is going to struggle.

None of us know damn about öööö about öööö. You lose to Temple and The Citadel in consecutive games though, there is no more appropriate time to ööööpost.

About as much respect as one can possibly have for a 1-win season. Buffalo's RB ran all over them last week. Maybe he should be on the Heisman watch list.

Part of the problem was we did recruit to positions. The recruiting services don’t rank guys by how they fit systems. Take Cotrell, the guy is a 4 star Aback but a two star possession receiver.

Cottrell never produced in games like a 4* AB

Orwin Smith produced in games like a 4* AB

Undersized guys like Cottrell are why we're in this mess to start with, the guy graduated we didn't owe him anything else

We shoulda thanked him for his service and used that slot for some Somoan JUCO lineman

GT has to drop this nice guy act and act like we wanna win, at Ohio State Urban used to cull that bottom 10% of the roster to constantly keep guys hungry and competitive

Compare that to what Michigan has done while making themselves feel good with a Roster ful of guys that are "Michigan Men"

Don’t forget to take the other TD off the board where they ran back the fumble.
Yeah, I don't follow the math here. Give us the 7 for TO's goal line fumble – that's 24-9. Take off the 7 for TO's fumble that was returned for a TD – that's 17-9. Gotta come up with some additional hypotheticals to get us a victory.

This coaching staff looks clueless. Their in-game decisions are some of the worst I’ve witnessed - Papa Pateneude is making Pat Nix look like a genius. This rotating QB nonsense is retarding our offense’s ability to get into any kind of rhythm. You’re ööööting on our OL? There are some good kids on that roster - maybe the issue is coaching.

My expectations for this season were as follows:

At LEAST win our games against G5 and FCS competition (right now, that USF game is looking like pure, dumb luck)

Maybe win one or two against ACC competition, don’t get blown up by teams not Clemson, UGAg.

Have some transition/growing pains, but have cohesive strategies on both sides of the ball.

Show growth and improvement week to week.

As it is now, we have gotten progressively worse. That is damn sure a coaching issue.

I’m not saying bring back CPJ, but I AM saying that Collins is not ready for this level. TStan öööö the bed on this hire.

*Temple is better (has better players) than we are.
*Our Oline is really bad. #70 should be sent back from whence he came
*James Graham is our best QB and should get most of the snaps from now on. Tobias should be moved to Plan B.
*Our receivers are scart. We juggle balls and dive for passes they should catch in stride.
*Why do we continue to make so many mental mistakes? Why do we try to run back kickoffs instead of take the freebee to the 25 yard line? Why can't we field a punt?
*Jamious Griffin needs to play a lot more at RB. Jordan does not cut back against the grain when he needs to. He is a tough inside runner, a natural BB, but is not fast enough to run laterally.
*Its gonna be a long year. We need to play more of the younger players to get them game experience.

-OL is very thin (bad if you want to say that). That is due to the way we were forced to recruit previously due to the system. And we had 2, I think, leave and now we have 2 hurt. CPJ surprisingly retired for a reason. To us anyway. But he knew what he had left in the cupboard.

- mental mistakes are often due to pressure trying to do better, make the big play, or taking all the responsibility on ones own shoulders. The players may make more due to the pressure they will be putting on themselves and especially if they read some internet boards were idiots ( not talking about you) are saying they don’t play with effort.

Temple’s recruiting classes for the last 3 years are 105, 82 and 119 on 247. Tech is 51, 44, 48. I’m sorry but I’m not buying into the Temple had better talent story. You don’t need a top 25 class to score more than 2 points against Temple.

On their roster - how many OL & DL? How many Srs?

Obviously we should not lose to temple or FCS. Or hardly any ACC teams.

I was actually embarrassed when this temple game was announced. Ugag has played temple many times and not once gone to their place. Starting with Homer, we started dumbing down our schedule quite a bit.
