The actual Wiki entry for Patenaude SMH

“Following Patenaude’s two years at the helm of New Haven’s football program, the university decided to drop the sport.”

First time our offense hasn't scored since 1997. And that was against FSU. Fire this clown.

The narrative is out, and published on the front page of rr.com. “Three turnovers inside 35 yard line doom Georgia Tech”

Reminds me of when we kept choking and fumbling in the red zone against Tennessee a couple years ago. Really made it hard to score so we only ended up with 650 yards and 41 points.

Yeah but remember our awful performance against USF last year

we only scored 38

Yeah I remember scoring every drive. It was cuz if we didn’t we’d lose because the defense gave up 7 so ööööing quick every series

It's interesting to read Patenaude's wiki - absolutely no experience at a major program (unless you consider Temple major, I don't). He makes $400K/year apparently.

Given recent events, I re-read Collins' bio. After all the hoopla and PR, it's easy to forget that we hired a newby head coach (making ~$3M/yr with 7 year contract). He's learning on the job and will need some time (as many are pointing out).

I think you and I are looking at this situation through similar viewpoints, so I offer this comment from 'your side.'

In another thread, in which you argue that people should stop blaming CPJ, someone responded that people need to stop bringing him up if they don't want to argue about him. And you said, STTE, I don't bring him up, just defend him when he's brought up. But here you're introducing him into a thread that really should just be about Patenaude.

I, for one, am ready to stop talking about the last OC's inadequacies, and to focus solely on the current OC's inadequacies.

Coach Pat isn't really the reason we are losing but, as I indicated before the season started, he's just a placeholder.

If he is our OC this time next year, I'll know what the deal is.

That's fair.
