Watching the NFL today, I counted about 8 of 10 snaps taken from under center. A lot of play action. We are supposed to be an NFL-style offense that'll meet the skills of our option-style players, right?

Wrong. We're gonna try to be a Mike Leach college spread no matter who the **** is taking snaps.

Ifs, ands, or buts don’t win football games but coaches that get paid millions of dollars to win football games should be held accountable. Apparently, you think it’s acceptable and actually expected for us to lose to the Citadel and not score on Temple (we had 8 other possessions that didn’t end in a turnover). We’re not coming off a rape scandal where the entire roster is turned over. We have a weak OL, I get it, but we should absolutely still beat the Citadel and not be shutout by Temple. That is on the coaching staff.
You're not very good at logic, I see. I don't think it's acceptable or expected to lose to Citadel.
But you're a grade 1A dumbass saying it's all coaching's fault. Tell me whose fault this would be:

First Half
Possession 1 - Punt
Possession 2 - Punt
Possession 3 - Punt
Possession 4 - End of Half / Field Goal

Second Half
Possession 5 - Punt
Possession 6 - Touchdown
Possession 7 - Turnover on downs
Possession 8 - Lost Fumble

Is that coaching fault? Because that's GT versus the mighty football powerhouse of the Minnesota Golden Gophers in last year's bowl game. Was that all bad coaching? Or was it also player execution?

You forgot to close it out with we lost 14-15 starters from that Team that got boat raced by Minnesota

That's what CGC walked into
Can I ask an honest question? Why are you guys making a big deal about losing to Minnesota, WHEN WE'RE ööööING LOSING TO THE CITADEL AND TEMPLE?!?!?! Jesus ööööing Christ....

The Minnesota game was players mailing it in. A repeat of the Tenuta coached bowl.

Grade 1A dumbass huh? Coming from the guy asking for my coaching resume and talking about ESP. And your cute little example means nothing to me. Have I mentioned Paul Johnson once? I’m disappointed in what I’ve seen from the coaching staff so far. Apparently, your bar is very low.

Temple’s recruiting classes for the last 3 years are 105, 82 and 119 on 247. Tech is 51, 44, 48. I’m sorry but I’m not buying into the Temple had better talent story. You don’t need a top 25 class to score more than 2 points against Temple.
Yow! that is a sobering stat!

Yep, we have a long history of not showing up for bowls under several coaching staffs. It’s really not fair to judge any coach or team based on performance in the “more like a punishment than a reward” bowls we often find ourselves in.

The Minnesota game combined with the fact that we lost a lot starters off of that team is merely a way to diagnose the Talent Level that CGC walked into

Kinda like a Dr taking your BP, pulse rate, checking your BMI, cholesterol levels, blood sugar, etc

In order to FAIRLY critique CGC we need to know what Talent Level he inherited

All that misplaced anger looks silly if you refuse to diagnose before you critique

At least I try to diagnose situations before I comment about them

I think I heard this exact quote in the post-game presser

How is that possible?

Don't great coaches like PJ always have their players motivated and ready to play?

Just figured our guys would be motivated to play for an Offensive genius

I was honestly a little surprised. Maybe the key is not having the next coach announced. The team did everything they could to get Mac promoted in the Seattle Bowl. Post Gailey and post Johnson bowls were players not giving a öööö.

I did make a big deal of it. I also ranted about the piss poor performance in Athens last year where we were going for 4th and 3+ on our side of the 50 in the 3rd quarter and turning the ball over. I sat there listening to everyone openly mocking the state of our program and the depth to which it had fallen. The most embarrassing part of it was that there was absolutely no defense. That performance was as embarrassing as Chan’s 51-7.

?? Collins was announced as HC on 12/7 and was actually at the bowl game.

Yes, that’s the point. Playing for a lame duck coach seems to inspire lame ass performances. (I was at both the Tenuta Bowl and Detroit, but the Seattle Bowl was one of the only ones I’ve missed...)

When a guy quits on his players he makes himself a lame duck HC, remember the AD didn't fire him

He quit

If we had a touchdown robot, it would probably solve most of our problems. VPISU has a lightly-used model available.
