130 teams in FBS

Scoring offense - 130 that’s right.....dead last
Total offense - 125
Passing offense - 126
Rushing offense - 66
Time of possession - 123
Third down conversion % - 126

The team leading in scoring per game is averaging more per game than we have scored in 4 games total

We are the worst team in America in our classification on offense

That's not that surprising.
Transitioning from a TO to a spread offense is analogous to being a right-handed hitter and trying to learn to hit lefty, against Div-1 pitching (and a pitcher having a good day for The Citadel).
To make the transition even more difficult, consider that the right-handed hitter is only hitting .240--- and isn't a great hitter, to begin with.
That's what is going on.
Deep breaths... It's going to take time, and it will probably get worse before it gets better.

Our defense is so much better than it has been.

But this Patenaude clown’s gots ta go. Need to see who Friedgen would hire or at least consult his opinion. Pretty unacceptable stuff.

Still hard to believe the offense was historically one of the better O’s in the country and almost overnight it’s been turned into the worst. You’d think that with the same players a good coach wouldn’t allow a huge drop off like that.

If the only football these guys had ever played was the TO that might be a good analogy.

But, since these guys have all played other offensive styles in their youth and HS days, its just a weak ass excuse.

We were not one of the best offenses last year
not sure why there's such a disconnect here. Anyone who watched us play Clemson, Duke, Pitt, mutts and Minnesota and thinks that offense was 'one of the best' is delusional.

Not coincidentally, the blocking was terrible last year - people here complained about it relentlessly and that was in year 11 of the prior scheme.

Would friedgen’s guy make TO stop from fumbling and make our TEs and WRs catch balls thrown right to their hands?

How about make walk-on O-lineman pass protect for 4 seconds? Or turn James Graham into pat mahomes?

Same players? The only returning production is Mason and Howard.
