So that's 3 seniors with season-ending injuries, but since within 4 games- all will red shirt to return next year.

That's crazy- gotta be some kind of record.

Correct

Likely incorrect. Transferring or quitting for various reasons is possible. Likely at least one will. But good job trying to stay optimistic when we're at rock bottom!

Ugh. Really hard to believe.

Probably wrong place, wrong time, but that's also 3 spots we counted on being open next year for a large incoming class. Attrition is gonna be something.

That’s three less scholarships available to the ‘20 class and incoming transfers. I doubt all three end up on the roster next year.

I think those 3 could come back. I do expect more attrition but all 3 of those guys are quality players and good in the locker room so I think it will come from other places. Especially the 2 OL could help with the young group we will have next year.

It sounds like Lee will, but I agree. With the way things are going, I don't think CGC can put off the roster transition.

Just listened to CGC press conference from today. Apparently he has been playing with some type of issue that was going to require surgery at some point (undisclosed). He didn't go through a lot of the summer conditioning or pre-season camp and they have been having to limit his reps and playing time because of it. They met with him and his family and believe he has a future in football and advised that their opinion was that it was best for him to go ahead and shut it down, have the surgery now and be able to fully contribute next year (he has not yet redshirted). He stayed in Philadelphia and had whatever surgery it was this morning.

Collins is smart. He is roster managing alot after these 4 games considering this season. Camp is an asset if we can block and throw. This year we cant.

A quick surgery like this while staying in philly likely means its minor and on the order of a scope. I dont recall him leaving for anything serious

Agree. Certain positions/players definitely would be of large benefit to return next year after a redshirt. Some guys we’re better off allowing them to play out their eligibility and replacing with higher upside Freshman/Grad Transfers. Not going to get into who...but certainly some roster management considerations that go along with all of this. CGC will be strategic. 4 games in the books, so now is the time.

How does KQ manage to piss off every head coach here?

Likely had surgery at the Vincera Institute (across the highway in the Navy Yard). I had that almost 2 years ago. At the same time was the UGA running back (Swift is my guess) and the most enormous guy I have ever seen (NFL OT). Good Luck to him. If so, he'll be good to go.
