CPJ speaks

Who’s the mad lad that tweeted this to him?

C is his middle initial. Its him. He doesnt have a checkmark because you have to ask/pay for those.

You don't have to pay for it. You just have to establish that you are a prominent public figure. It's especially important for people who could have knock-off/parody accounts created using their likeness, which is certainly the case for PJ. This is something GT should've taken care of for him.

I don't think this had/has anything to do with Collins. I don't think Johnson would do that. I expect that Johnson would talk to Collins directly if he had an issue with him but I expect Johnson doesn't give a f at this point.

Now if you want me to come up with something that might get Johnson's ire up (but still not enough to call out Collins online) then it could have been Collins' comments about how GT used to block in Johnson's scheme. Collins phrased it in an interesting way this week and said it at 2 different conferences. He said our OL were like trains on a track blocking 3 yards in front of them, where the new scheme they have to learn a lot of different type of blocks.

I think there is some truth to what Collins said in a very general sense but there is also the fact that our OL did learn a lot of different block, scoop blocks, pulling, trapping, were expected to block downfield so Collins left out a lot of the nuance.

He said the old style was more of a train which is true we went straight at the defenders and the new is more finesse sports car which is also true as alot of the blocking is angles and catch blocking etc. I don't think thats it. Paul probably heard some analyst on tv or radio etc.

As someone that’s done both- I don’t think he described it inaccurately for the amount of space reserved to answer a question like that.
