Dont look now but the Ravens also throw the ball with actual WR route trees. If PJ had this offense and a talented dual threat QB, he'd still be here today.

His tenure at Tech was longer than 98 percent of coaches. What an odd dig at the man.

Does he still? I know he spent one day there in off season didnt know he was an ‘active’ consultant

On the record, that offense is what i was hoping collins would bring to tech. Its very similar to urban meyers offense when he had tebow or what texas runs now. Collins is bringing more towards air raid spread than urbans spread; and not the Oklahoma version of air raid; rather in between wash st and Oklahoma. I see them wanting to pass 55percent of time eventually vs a 55percent to 60 percent run based spread
Not disagreeing with you because that sounds right; however, Collins went big to bring in Brent Key whose offensive lines have been more geared toward heavy smash mouth offensive lines running a pro-style offense. Do you think Brent Key is a good fit for Patenude's pass favoring spread offense?

And despite not really scoring many points.
He did as well as pretty much any other first year QB. Obviously he wasn't setting the world on fire, but it's pretty weird how quickly they bailed on him. Much worse players keep their jobs for much longer.

The zone scheme we have is suited to run both air raid or run heavy air raid like ok now. Its the play callers choice on what we wishes to run off zone. In other words, a ton u can do off this. We can run what brent teaches whether its lincoln reilly, urban meyer, or pnut. They all utilize a ton of the same stuff

I was hoping we would end up being more tom herman or urban meyer zone. I think we are going to be more oklahoma like when stoops was there than what they run now

Most of those games were in his second year. Regardless, not many NFL QBs completing 48% of their passes get the love Tebow gets. I honestly can't think of any.

The NFL will give you a chance if you have enough talent. Hell, teams gave Vick another chance. Tebow never demonstrated considerable improvement as a passer. He completed 40% of his passes in his last five starts of 2011.

You misread the intent of my comment. I meant that his offense and the Ravens are incomparable, thus any thought PJ's offense is actually viable in the NFL is ludicrous. Perhaps I myself read too much into the OP's post but there is still a persistent pocket of PJ supporters here that wanted the TO to stay and use examples like this to show how he is still relevant in CFB 2019. I actually enjoyed PJ's offense and still enjoy watching the service academies run the TO but the long-term erosion on talent became too much to bear here.

I agree with this.
