Student Enthusiasm

I have to keep telling my dad that if gray uniforms or money down or juice crews can help us get a DL and OL competitive with the factory schools then it doesn't matter what we think. I'd rather win.

What we ought to have is some sort of "money down" fan pledge where fans commit before the game to a certain donation per money down stop. So, it you pledge $5 per money down stop and we have 10 money down third down stops per game, you donate $50 to St. Jude or another charity
So usually I’d owe 10 bucks?

Sweet!

Actually, back in my day we didn't even need tickets. You got into the game by showing your student ID. The seats that are now the club seats were student seats and it was first come, first served. So students got there earlier to get the best seats in the place...and they were loud and right behind the visiting team's bench. Now the visiting team sits behind the quietest section in the stadium.
That’s the way it was when I was there. Rules Jr. graduated in the modern era, and he and his friends would get to the South Gate before it opened so they could get front row seats in the south end zone.

CGC was leaving the field pregame and stopped to get The Swarm fired up (for the team about to run off the field). They all cheered eventually and the got completely quiet as the team exited.

We did get there early and we cheered the team on and off the field. And we won two games in two years.

There are quite a few examples where AA folks have taken a step backward.
(YJA used to be single file and led by the Wreck. Now it’s a big group moving through at three times the speed.)

With the Reck club annoyingly screaming "MOVE BACK! MOVE BACK!". Amazing the Wreck was ever able to make it through the 70's, 80's, and 90's
