Offense had its best game of the season but had some dead series that hurt. O line had its best game. Coach Pat also had a pretty good game.Lots of improvement all around on the offense. Still some good defense. Most problems look like things settling into the system and recruiting can fix. Place kickers need an exorcism to break whatever hex they are under.
I didn't realize this. The third down failures are painful, but have plenty of room to improve.Graham was 15/22 for 229 yards.
372 total yards of offense; but 3/10 on third down.
I think it's ridiculous that we haven't started letting Harvin kick field goals. It's not like there's a single thing he can't do.I wouldn’t attempt another FG for the rest of the year. In fact, I’d make it a point to indicate that we have no ATL place kickers.
If we have schlorship numbers problems next year, I know where we can find 2We need one of the PWO kickers to come in and take over. Wells and King have had ample opportunities.
Agreed. As much as I dislike trying to take credit in a loss, this was clearly our best game of the year.I though it was our best game. Mental mistakes and kickers lost the game.

Undeniable improvement in all phases. Is that enough? IMHO, UVA is a better team that we beat on a fluke last year, so there is room for optimism. Today made me feel we will compete with Georgia. We can win one or both against VPI and NCST. There is improvement for sure. Still made the glaring errors that unfortunately get you beat. But nothing I saw today is not fixable. Too bad we don't have more games left to work on it.Lots of improvement all around on the offense. Still some good defense.
