Ugag loses to Auburn, then Ugag wins over LSU in the SEC Championship game.

Make sure undefeated Minnesota does not get into the playoffs. If they win out and beat Ohio State and do not hit the top 4, but 2 SEC schools are in, the other conferences just need to refuse to play the SEC any longer, form a new league with all the conferences outside the SEC, and just let the SEC play with themselves. The SEC inbreds would be fine with it anyway.

I don't think anyone thinks that will happen. If Minnesota goes undefeated they are in. If next year Rutgers/Indiana/Arkansas/Vanderbilt somehow goes undefeated, they would be in. No undefeated team from SEC or Big 10 or named Clemson or named ND is getting left out over the next 5 years.

Alabama will get in. In almost every likely scenario, Alabama will not even win their own division but will make the playoff.
This. Alabama is sitting pretty now as long as they beat Auburn. If LSU beats uga, Bama will sneak in like they did a few years ago without playing the SECCG.

The ironic thing is, Alabama probably benefitted from losing that game. Losing the SECCG so late in the season could have knocked them out of the playoff, but now they don't even have to play in the game.

If you lose your conference, you shouldn't get in over a conference champ. Period. Not with only 4 teams in the playoff. If you want teams like Bama to still have a shot, then expand the playoff to 8 or 16.

Assuming Bama, LSU, OSU, Clemson, Baylor win out. Who’s in then?
Undefeated Baylor would probably get in over Alabama just by virtue of being undefeated. They would have to beat Oklahoma twice to get there.

But a 1-loss Baylor (or Oklahoma, or Oregon, or Utah) would not get in over Alabama, and I think that's crap.

The issue with these type of hypothetical is it depends greatly on what other teams do.

In that scenario, it would help Oregon a lot. If they only have 1 loss, then you would have to pick them over UGA. If there are a couple of other Power 5 undefeated then they are going over UGA. If there are a bunch of 2 loss teams, then UGA has a shot.

If Bama destroys Auburn and UGA barely beast LSU or LSU seems to play bad, then Bama could get in over UGA but that would basically be an impossible situation for the SEC. At some point SEC fans are going to figure out that cheering for the "SEC" is counter productive.

Ain't nobody getting in with 2 losses when one of those was to a likely 4-8 team. See Ohio State a couple of years back. Committee has proven that conference championship is way down their list. Can we stop with the improbable ugag playoff scenarios?
