Many alumni don’t get to go to games who have season tickets. This includes gold seaters or the like. We need to make an effort to get unused tickets in the hands of student athletes at the high school level when they are unused. Not sure the logistics of this but I’ve said it before. You make a fan young and potentially hook em for life.

Just like cigarettes.

But we have a better recruiting class at 2-7 than we did when we went 11-3 and won the Orange Bowl.
Yup. I bought into the "win and they will come" and damn if I wasnt wrong.

This has easily been the most enjoyable losing season I could imagine. I've been less happy overall with bowl seasons.

I have purchased season tix since 1986 (the year I graduated) but have lived anywhere between 4,500 miles to 600 miles from ATL so rarely able to attend home games.

Before Braineless was the AD, I could return my tix for double AT Fund point credit. But since Rice left, the GTAA just tells me to sell my tix on Stubhub. If I know of a deserving GT fan, I'll give them away as some on this board can attest but WtF is up with the GTAA sending me to StubHub? Really?

This is exactly the kind of information that is pertinent to the discussion. How many tickets even in previous sellouts went unused?

surely there is a way to contact season ticket holders who do not use the tickets and offer incentive to get them in the hands of willing attendees. There’s probably a way to look at this now that we scan ticket bar codes.

"Wait 'til next year!"
