We wouldn’t ever have a more talented roster the rest of his time here. So, doubt it

Its going to take years to get this team back to 7 wins. Then it will be only the odd season like that. I'm really afraid this team is heading back to the early 80's for a decade.
With the coaching I have seen so far, Collins would have to recruit like Clemson and Bama to win 9.
Now, I do like him putting defense first. If we can build a killer D and keep it going - good things may come.

The defensive regression is the most disappointing to me. After USF I thought we’d be solid defensively as our O figured out what it was doing. Well, our D has been just as bad as our O in most of the conference games.

Teams figured out that coaching cant fix our defensive line to get pressure or stop the run.

Look...VT has been streaking the last 6 weeks. They’ll probably crush uVa as they normally do and win the coastal. We’re injured, small and no depth. Anyone who thought we’d be competitive today hadn’t been reading the tea leaves. I can’t think of another coach in the country who would have taken this job and led us to to 5-7 wins already...
