1957

At least UGA didn't break our streak. I can live with 45-0. Was afraid they'd hang 60 or 70.

Should have fired his sorry butt his first season.
But it wasn’t his first season- before that game he won a national championship and was close to 2 more. Plus knowing Dodd, the other team did NOT score 45!
Dodd deserves a mulligan!

This could go either way- Collins could be the next Lewis or the next O’Leary.
No one knows- but what we’ve seen is not promising.
I hope he can do better- a lot better!

False equivalence, that auburn team went undefeated and won the mnc, we lost 3-0

Dodd also didn't have the worst loss in program history to go along with that shutout. That auburn loss was probably a pretty good showing as far as losses go, but today's debacle ranks up there with 51-7, but still behind the citadel

Well the big cry list is at least a good reference point of who on here is a giant pussy

Congrats on CGC and Patenaude bringing us back to our history! First time held scoreless at home in over six decades! Bravo!
I was genuinely shocked, sitting in the stands today, to realize that I was witnessing something that hadn't happened in over 60 years. That's something like 400 games of football, and never has a GT offense been this inept. Against a decent-but-by-no-means-world-beating VT squad.

As bad as the loss against The Citadel was (and that was very, very bad), IMHO getting shut out at Grant Field in this day and age is the worst thing about this season.

(...so far, I say with a frightened gulp)

If we can find a tight end in the transfer portal, and a big DT recruit, and have a couple freshman OL and LB break throughs, and have a QB grow up, then we could go to a bowl next year. Even w/o a couple of those, we will be a far superior team next year.
