I don’t even know half of our players names whenever a play is made. Who the heck is Ryan...on DL?

Paul Johnson left us with the cupboard completely bare. And I’ve always feared the transition year whenever he left.

No point in grading the season. Take your medicine like a man because you knew it had to happen.
Remember all of the threads this past off season anticipating a coastal title in year 1 with the depleted roster left behind by Johnson? I remember. Anyone that made that prediction showed their true football genius.

I don’t remember a single thread calling for a coastal title. Some were saying bowl eligible, but that was the upper end. A little better coaching, less injuries, and a little luck and we would be at 5 wins right now. But iiwii.

Go big cry more posts you don’t agree with because our team is a dumpster fire and our coach is turd.
So you are going a bit much, I've been fairly critical of the onfield performances this year, especially with in game head coaching decisions, and of course the offense.

But there is no denying that Collins has improved the buzz around the program, and improved recruiting.

The results on the field may be a dumpster fire, but the overall state of the program is most decidedly not.

F minus . I would have been willing to give an F or even an F+ until the VT game. The jury is still out on whether he will be as successful here as he claims he will be & many posters say he will be . We will know more after next season & he better go at least .500 or the situation for him will get a little shaky . I expect 7-9 wins in year 3 & as good or better in year 4. He needs to tone down his braggadocio , be more aware of Tech traditions, realize we don't care how he did at Temple or about Temple. Some people regard him as a marketing genius here & on other boards but I am beginning to see resistance to his methods. His approach is ,( and whether you want to hear this or not ) is too much ghetto trash.

Maybe our fans are too elitist to allow for marketing and messaging that appeals to today’s youth?

This is a hot take.

What's your point? It was one of the best classes in NCAA history, and is commonly regarded as such. 5 future 1st round picks from that class.
My point is I am mocking the "it takes multiple years to recruit" excuse makers simultaneously giving CGC credit for our 2007 and Bama's 2008 class when CGC was only at those places 1 year.

Gets an F from me. Maybe if he can close on a few of the high level recruits I'll consider bumping him to a D.
I would say a D. The win over Miami was great this year and they did play Virginia close. Yesterday however was a huge step back. This NC St game is huge. Win this and it will give some optimism going into the Off-season. As for the Georgia game, ya it’s best I don’t comment about that.
