NC State

Actually we started at O/U 4.5 wins. I foolishly bet the over. I'm pretty sure the number ends up at 4 going into the season. I figured with Citadel on the schedule and no unbeatable teams in the Coastal, we would at LEAST hit 4.

I guess it would be underperforming then

Have been following NC State all season.I would put this game at 50/50. Both teams have been decimated by injuries and are having to start freshmen at key positions.

QB is a wash. Both teams are playing redshirt freshman who are still learning and making tons of mistakes. Graham has actually shown more promise.

GT has the edge in secondary. NC State's DB's are very poorly coached and get flagged for PI on a regular basis. There should be a healthy dose of plays where Graham tosses it to receivers on deep routes to get the PI.

Skill positions are about even.

Both teams have inept offensive lines affected by injuries. However, on the defensive line, State is decent and can actually generate a pass rush.

With home field advantage, I would say this game is a toss up. Very, very winnable.

As @ibeeballin said, this is the problem with GT fans in a nutshell.... What a dumb take

Not looking at the big picture.

Which matters more for our program:
1. Winning a meaningless game versus a weak opponent
2. Avoiding a historically huge rout by UGA

Easily #2 if you're a Tech fan

We'll revisit your posts saying it'd be dumb to practice extra for UGA

You really think an extra 3 days of practice will make a difference? We had all summer for Clemson and it didn't help....

I want the win on Thursday. We'll worry about the dwags when we get there. I want one win, this week...and that's it. Quit being a total beta, all worried about losing by a respectable margin against the dwags. F that noise. Win on Thursday. Then we'll look to the next opponent.

Yes. I watched the Auburn game and skipped GT-VT because I thought VT would win by 20+. Still worse than expected. Half of UGA's offense is Fromm throwing sideline comeback passes. Our DBs need to jump them and take a couple to the house. It's how USCe won.

You should be a college football coach. With expert analysis like that, you cannot lose.

Is he wrong?
Edit: aside from being Russian
Is he wrong? Hell yeah, he's wrong. A Georgia Tech fan skips watching a Tech game to watch a UGA game? If you cannot recognize where that's wrong, you're an idiot.
Was his answer incomplete? LOL, yeah.

Wonder how USCe jumped those routes? Would it have to do with the pass rush that day? And how does our pass rush compare to those of the Gamecocks?

Do I agree that this person whom I have never met was wrong to skip the GT game and watch UGA/Auburn? Yes. I was at my in-laws this week (8 of which are auburn fans/grads, and I sat watching the GT game on ööööing YouTube TV that I pay a stupid about to watch only Tech games on the ACC network).

Do I agree that 3 extra days of practice to prepare for UGA at the expense of a conference game against an opponent that we could beat is retarded? Yes also.

However, I have watched Fromm this season and he does make a significant amount of sideline passes, similar to the one that we should have taken to the house against Clemson earlier this year against arguably a better QB and probably better overall team. Our DBs are good.

Calling people idiots on line is idiotic. I don’t have any direct comparison, but South Carolina is not a good team this year.

So go öööö yourself.

Awwww, this idiot is mad.

Georgia will not beat us worse than VT. VT was just a horrible game. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. UGA will won comfortably but not by more than 45. They will control the line of scrimmage and take time off the clock with their running game. Once they are by 20 they’ll pull everyone out of the game especially with what just happened to Tua. We’ll play better like we did after other bad games. We’ll lose but we’ll fight.
