NC State

Oh, it'll be a full house. In red.

:puke:
Oh, I meant this week's game. I don't imagine that NC State fans will travel for this game. Two awful teams, Thursday night game, zero enthusiasm.

I have no doubt that those Athens pieces of öööö will yet again trash campus like they do every other year. ööööing slobs.

They'll probably say it was 40K, it will be more like 35K though

Start Yates--'nuff said.
I got no problem with it

I know there will be a few of us there because the tailgate is gonna start at noon. Gone be lit!

Tickets are currently as low as $6 on Stubhub (it cost $7 to go to our local high school games), and seats are available pretty much anywhere you want to sit. That said, I doubt there will be 35K there.

Hey you were the one trying to make the point that the dude who skipped watching Tech to watch UGA wasn't wrong then tried to cover with an excuse.
My point concerned sideline throws and UGA tendencies

Quit being a total beta, all worried about losing by a respectable margin against the dwags.
I said it a couple games ago, but this is the largest transformation that needs to happen surrounding the program

Sagarin has us slightly better than NC State. With the home field, Sagarin favors us by 6 points.

ESPN FPI has NC State as a slightly better team with 45% chance of win for Tech.

Likely a close game, team better get ready for a fight.
GT is a 3 point favorite for what's it's worth

Not looking at the big picture.

Which matters more for our program:
1. Winning a meaningless game versus a weak opponent
2. Avoiding a historically huge rout by UGA

Easily #2 if you're a Tech fan

We'll revisit your posts saying it'd be dumb to practice extra for UGA
UGA has no interest in running up the score. Their strategy will be get ahead, and then rest the starters for LSU. Everyone at the top saw Alabama lose Tua when it was 35-7.

That said, their strategy is doomed to fail because we're going to beat the öööö out of them.

That line sounds about right to me...but I've been overly optimistic ever since this summer. If the team comes out motivated I look for an exciting win for us with several big plays on both offense and defense. If the team plays well we could win by 10+.

Can we score 10?

Agree. UGA rests its starters early. The problem is UGAs 2nd and 3rd string players will still embarrass us.

Pretty good look:

N.C. State (4-6, 1-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) visits Georgia Tech (2-8, 1-6) on Thursday night in a matchup of struggling teams looking to end losing streaks.

The Wolfpack have suffered four straight losses, each by at least two touchdowns. They are tied with Syracuse for last place in the ACC’s Atlantic Division.

The Yellow Jackets have lost three straight games and are alone in last place in the Coastal Division.

N.C. State coach Dave Doeren has had no senior starters on offense for three straight games. He has played 18 true freshmen and has lost seven players, including five starters, to season-ending injuries. Five more starters have missed two or more games.

Does Doeren survive?

I think he gets one more year. As my coaching son said of the Wolfpack n August, “When you think you have three quarterbacks it really means you have none.” Their QB play has been bad and the injury bug has hit hard. By next year he will need to find his QB and stick with him. He would need 8 wins next season to stay. If a good program shows interest in him this year he should consider leaving.

We're in better shape at QB than NC State. That should tell you something.
