I have been following Tech football since the late 40s, and tonight's win is equal in its effectiveness to the teams of the early fifties under Bobby Dodd.
This game was a game of consistency. We were good on defense against both the run and the pass. Tenuta did an excellent job in preparing the defense for this game.
The offense was also consistent, other than the nagging penalties, but that is somewhat normal for a first game.
Overall, it was the best game I have seen Tech play since the early fifties. It was a solid performance.
Also, congratulations to Duke for helping the ACC win one against an OOC opponent. It appears Roof and the defense held the scoring down enough for the offense to win one at Duke.
